Neal Oswald was SVP Process Management in Retail and Business Banking, and Technology and Operations, at a large Canadian Bank. In these roles, Neal created and ran end-to-end process transformation programs. Prior to this, Neal was SVP Strategic Planning and Business Management in the Technology and Operations division. Neal provided thought leadership and direction to the senior leadership team in the planning, development and execution of an integrated tech and ops strategy, as well as several transformational projects across Technology, Global Operations and Corporate Services. Neal created and built the Bank’s Process Management Centre of Excellence. Neal was the CFO of the wholesale bank at CIBC during the sub-prime crisis, when he led change initiatives to improve performance, restructure the division and grow the bottom line. Neal has also held leadership roles in financial services consulting firms that focus on process transformation, business model change and risk management.
